It was late afternoon enter Gratzzi's Italian Grill.
The dark interior was in sharp contrast to the sun setting over the building. When my eyes adjusted, the first feeling I had was that I was here with family. You know like in The Sopranos. Intimate. Special. Family.
The atmosphere inside Gratzzi’s is a great combination of old St. Petersburg and Old World Italian. Tightly spaced tables, brick walls, with countless bottles of wine hung on them as decorations. In the far corner you can see the kitchen staff working at high speed. At a table nearby, someone is enjoying a show as Dominique, creates the flaming signature dish “Bada Bing”
Where do alligators eat anyway?
If you’ve ever visited UF chances are you’ve been close to a real live alligator.
The first time I ate at Nitally’s, the restaurant was in it’s first location on 4th Street North, near downtown St. Petersburg, FL. It was in an 8’ x 10’, two table dining room with a counter and a kitchen in the back. Some of you might remember this location.
The food from this little Thai-Mex restaurant was fantastic!
